On Bawdry
They say that prostitution is the oldest job on earth. This also opens up another question. How does bawdry or pimping evolved? Who were the first pimps? Were they women or men? Who had the idea of organising or ruling over the prostitutes like the workers in a workshop? These are the questions popped up in my mind and would need some research before i jot down any answers here.

I am not sure if your questions are answered for sure. Perhaps we will never know.
ReplyDeleteIn the epic of Gilgamesh there is huge role for a prostitute and a sexually voracious lady who were the daughter of a god. Back then they faced this aspect of life with more moral neutrality i presume.
