Writing the scenario in a relationship

Sometimes concerning the girl one dates, I feel that it’s not about the girl mostly. I feel as if I write the scenario and she plays her part in it. Maybe she feels that way too. It is natural that you modify the scenario according to the actress you work with. It really depends on her skills, capabilities and emotional contribution, but still you write that story.

I’ve come to realize this when I learned that one of my former girl friends is about to get married. The story that I wrote once didn’t seem to get less in value. It still is there with me. I keep that story. Even though the actress now may work for another scenarist, I shot that film and is always with me. Every time I tell the story, maybe with little editing, I leave the impression of that story in another mind, so it slowly becomes less of the actress, may be with time it’ll slowly become less of me, too.

Perhaps it’s got to do something with the artists, something with the creative side of life. They fix some of that experience and emotion, we enjoy their work but we as spectators lose the source of the inspiration, and when that work is embraced by the public we forget who the artist was too. May be a name will remain, only. But from the perspective of the artist, every time he watches his film, looks at his painting, plays his tune he would go back to that moment of struggle in a stylized fashion.
